Choosing your wedding venue is an exciting and challenging task. With so many beautiful locations, finding a unique venue can make your day even more special.

Here are some ideas to help you find the perfect location for your special day.
- Think about your personal style. What type of venue would best reflect your personality as a couple? Do you prefer a rustic barn, a modern industrial space or a marquee festival style? Remember the venue should match your overall theme and vibe of your wedding.
- Unleash the limits! There are lots of locations that can be just as unique such as art galleries, museums, botanical gardens or historic landmarks.
- It’s important to consider the logistics when choosing a unique wedding venue. Make sure the venue has the capacity to accommodate your guest list and there are the necessary facilities such as restrooms, parking and catering options.
- Some venues have restrictions on certain suppliers which can limit you if you are looking to create a unique wedding, so do your research! It’s also a good idea to enquire about noise curfews.
- Once you have your shortlist, make an appointment and visit the venue in person. This will give you a feel for the space, ambience and is a great opportunity to talk with the wedding coordinator.
