Each time I photograph a wedding at Combermere Abbey, I am in awe of its’ sheer beauty. How I choose the locations for your photographs is based on a variety of several factors. The time of day your wedding ceremony will take place, the weather conditions on your day and most importantly the time of year. Fortunately, Combermere Abbey is a wedding venue that has invested many years of work tending the grounds to ensure there is a beautiful backdrop to suit every month of the year. Spring sees an abundance of blossoms in pretty pinks, the walled garden is bursting with fruits in the Summer months which flow into Autumn to showcase the soft grasses and avenues of trees.

A little note from the happy couple!
We had a gut instinct even when we looked at Combermere’s website that it would be our wedding venue. We loved the amount of space you had yet the walled gardens made it feel so private at the same time. The grounds are simply stunning but nothing could prepare us for the fruit maze which was in bloom for our wedding, it was incredible. There are also so many different parts of Combermere for people to explore, we have wonderful pictures from the lake, the gardens and the maze. We think it is really unique in that way!
For us, it was also so important to have rooms onsite for our family and friends. The cottages are to such a high standard and very reasonably priced for the amount of space you get. The staff on the day were also brilliant, always checking we had everything we needed and we got lots of compliments on how well organised they are! Overall, Combermere was perfect and we were lucky enough to have stunning weather to go with it.
